Walter R. Higgins and his son Randall Higgins started Alabama Air Power in 1984 and established the business in Alabaster Alabama where they have continued to serve the fine industries in the state of Alabama for over 30 years. Recognizing the need for air compressor sales, service and repairs in surrounding states, Alabama Air Power purchased Airlube Inc., located in Chattanooga Tennessee in 1999 and acquired Air-1 of Dalton in 2008.
To better serve our customers Alabama Air Power and Air-1 Airlube, Inc. have offices located in Alabaster, Alabama and Dalton, Georgia allowing us to serve customers in the Southeasst.
We are an authorized Atlas Copco Compressor Distributor, serving customers in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia and the Florida Panhandle.. We provide sales, service, compressed air audits, parts for air compressor, refrigerated, desiccant or membrane compressed air dryer, Nitrogen generation Systems, air line filters, vacuum pump, and vacuum booster compressed air equipment.
